CNSIG

China National Salt Industry Group (CNSIG) was founded in 1950. It is the leading and the only state-owned enterprise of China's salt industry, the largest salt enterprise in Asia and the second in the world. 

CNSIG has been committed to promoting the sustainable and healthy development of China's salt industry. It spares no efforts to guarantee the supply of iodized salt, strives to fulfill the social responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise and deliver the value of state-owned assets. 

CNSIG's annual output of all kinds of salt reaches 15 million tons, taking up 18 percent of the total national output. The annual edible salt output of CNSIG is over 2 million tons, accounting for about 30 percent of the national total. 

In addition to the core business of salt, CNSIG also extends to the salt chemical industry. It has formed the industrial distribution of inorganic chemicals, agricultural chemicals, fine chemicals and cosmetics, with some products ranking among the top of the world.
