Profile: Guillermo Moncecchi has received a master's degree in computer science from the University of the Republic of Uruguay, a doctor’s degree in computer science from the Institute of Basic Science Development Program of the University of Uruguay, and a doctor’s degree in computer science from the University of Paris, France.
The Ministry is responsible for strengthening the national industry, the expansion of the productive in Uruguay, and the incorporation of knowledge and technological value to all its sectors, as well as the promotion of the acquisition of skills in students and young workers. The Ministry acts as an articulator between Academy, industry and public sector. It is also responsible for the development of public telecommunications, energy and digital infrastructure and the diversification of the country's energy sources.
